Notes from Dorothy Beebee on 10/28/2008, two days after she collected them:
Cap – dk. reddish brown, silky
Gills – Red – with a slightly orangey iridescence In sunlight, (darkening with rusty brown spores after 24 hours)
Stipe – “Straw yellow”, fibrillose, striated
Photos taken on the third day.
