Recognized by sight: A. flavoconia is highly variable in cap color and cap ornamentation. This obs looks a lot like some of the flavoconia I find here in PA.

i initially thought A. flavoconia as well…
i’m not ruling it out.
it just looks a bit different than what i usually cal A. flavoconia around here…

Amanita flavivolva have a white margin on the cap? Why rule out A. flavoconia?
