in sabal palm/live oak hammock. very flimsy cap and stem… I couldn’t print it if I tried

As far as I am aware it is only known from western states and there are quite a few species listed in subgenus Pseudostropharia.

I always take prints and dry specimens… but not back then… these are old photos and I know the location of most of my finds like the back of my hand.

Now I GPS my finds (accurate within 20 feet) :D

you find this, please save it! It would be interesting to scope this given the location, Smith lists Psathyrella membranacea from florida whose macroscopic description more or less matches your observation including the solitary growth in the woods. Though, I am not sure its wise to put much weight in that without microscopy. :)
