without host and microscope. Nectria is in work. A new worldwide monograph will be coming soon. I think North American monography is already available. Until then and without micro features it is impossible for me in most cases.
You must know that Nectria parasitizes pyrenomycetes most of the time. Without knowing the tree or plant and the parasitized fungus on it it is sheer impossible.
