Notes: Just four sporocarps found mixed into a significant fruting of Stropharia rugosoannulata, observation 133697, in wood chips. In the wider habitat shot the two mushroom nearest the bottom were S. rugosoannulata.

Description of collected specimens:

Pileus: Dark brown with a slightly paler disc; 50-75mm across, flesh about 7mm thick; smooth to innately fibrillose; cuticle peels; convex to plano-convex with a broad umbo; flesh pure white

Stipe: Enlarged at base to a slight bulb; white but covered with dark brown fibrils running the full length of the stipe; flesh pure white; 50-70mm long; 6-11mm wide

Lamellae: Pale when young, becoming pinkish with age; free; close; lamellulae frequent

Odor: Indistinct

Taste: Indistinct
