Observation 133903: Coprinellus P. Karst.

I will scope it in a few years if no one else wants it.

Found on fallen limb. Likely to be Elm, as it was next to a recently fallen elm. Maple, Oak and Ash are also possible, But not as likely.

Primordia were the size of pencil eraser- 2 available.

One basidiocarp available- pileus was bluntly conical and would’ve been about 1.5 cm if flat. covered in fibrils and granules, generally dark brown at the disc. base color cream.

one quarter pileus fragment with lamellae available.

Stipe was 1.5-2 cm in length, fragile, hollow, glabrous in maturity and covered in rhizomorphic basal mycelium.

Did not attempt spore print as the specimens were beginning to deliquesce.
