Observation 133961: Amanita aprica J. Lindgr. & Tulloss

When: 2013-05-18

Collection location: Lake Easton State Park, Washington, USA [Click for map]

Who: Drew Henderson (Hendre17)

No specimen available

Notes:
Fruiting beneath Douglas fir and vine maple. One major indicator with this species(in addition to it being a Spring fruiter) macroscopically is that the warts on the cap are integral to the pellicle and are not removable. These were abundant here at Lake Easton today.

Temp: low 60’s.
