Observation 134022: Boletus subalpinus (Trappe & Thiers) M. Nuhn, Manfr. Binder, A.F.S. Taylor, Halling, & Hibbett
When: 2013-05-16

Notes: These were growing mostly above ground near mixed conifers and on relatively hard ground.
Largest was less than 3 cm across.
They have a definite bolete type odor.
Probably too immature to ID correctly but perhaps a Gastrobolete.
