Notes: Fruiting prolifically along front lawn of this retirement community(well watered by sprinklers). Only two specimens were at full (brown gilled) maturity. All young, pink gilled specimens smelled sweet and slightly almond scented. This is the first time we have encountered the meadow mushroom this side of the Cascades in WA. Not staining yellow as with A.xanthodermus/scent is very pleasant-not phenolic.
Largest caps- 8cm.
Temp: low 80’s.
