Observation 13463: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing in very thick moss and lichens was this tiny-capped mushroom that I’m tentatively calling a Mycena. Cap is less than 1/4 inch wide, and perhaps 2.5 inches tall. Tuft of mycelium at base of stipe.

This lichen (observation 13470) contains this undisturbed Mycena in the upper right-hand quadrant of the photo.
