Observation 135122: Laetiporus cincinnatus (Morgan) Burdsall, Banik, & Volk
When: 2013-05-31
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

I do not normally find this species here this time of year. Many people have been finding L. cincinnatus and L. Sulphureus this month in Missouri along with other species that one would normally find in late summer and early fall.
Never one to complain, I will not look a gift mushroom in the mouth so to speak.
Parts of this one will be dinner tonight.
I hope you all enjoy the photos.
