Observation 135176: Leccinum scabrum (Bull.) Gray

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found it today, but looks old enough to have been out in late May. Pictures work, except for a green tint to ignore. Not distinct in odor. Found near a birch tree, and farther from a white pine.

I just tasted it. Had a mild acidic flavor. Nothing strong. No bitter.
