I have not, altho I am attempting to get a pdf. Until then, I will reserve judgement as to exact species here.

Although I think you’re right on this (due to mountain habitat and spring fruiting), it is possible that it’s another taxon. For example, I doubt the one from Cold Canyon Reserve is that species.

there are a number of cryptic species under that former regius umbrella. Unless you can actually open that new paper and read the species descriptions, how can you be certain that this butter is primiregius and not one of three others?
