Notes: Largest specimens were 2cm.

Found in large Blewett pass burn site from summer 2012. Millions of ascomycetes here today.

Elevation 4100ft.

Temp: upper 60’s.

on various sites, and of images and size/color representative of this species I agree fully with Anthracobia.
Just assumed these were young, vibrant Geopyxis carbonaria and had some odd coloration and stunted size.
