Given the time of year and the geography, I think there are at least two possibilities that can be segrefated by spore measurements. One of these is Amanita praecox Y. Lamoureux nom. prov.

http://www.amanitaceae.org?Amanita+praecox

and the other is

http://www.amanitaceae.org?Amanita+sp-S01

The spore measurements are on the technical tabs of those two pages.

Did you write an MSc thesis on nrITS in Jean-Marc Moncalvo’s lab in recent years?

Very best,

Rod
