Notes: I believe this is an auricularia auricula, but I have never seen it white. This specimen is translucent white, with the only brown where it was immediately attached to wood. It looks exactly like the auricula that grows in the same area (shape,diameter, fine hairs on fertile surface), but has no color whatsoever. Have not gotten spore print yet. Any ideas?
