No herbarium specimen

Notes: Stipes flexible-fibrous, brownish but lighter near apex. Gills attached, pale tan. In moss. Presumably white-spored… waiting for print.

These little white-spored saprobes are a real challenge!

Spores are lacrymoid.

Although this supports the Gymnopus hypothesis, I’m not sure if it eliminates other possibilities… like Marasmius or Mycetinis.

Spores mounted in KOH + Condo red… to make them easier to see. Add 17% to dimensions indicated in the photo, which puts the lengths under 8 mu.
