Notes: Is my ID right? Stipes are tough. Taste & odor both particularly pleasant (esp. odor). Were growing near each other, however no ring was apparent (maybe as the mycelium ages a ring or semi-circle will start to become apparent?).

Yeah, I did think about the stipe color for a moment. Spore print? OK, I’ll go do that. TY.
Gills and cap appear to be a bit blown out. Dark color on stipe is a bit perplexing. Spore print color may help here.
M. oreades does not always fruit in rings or arcs.
