You’ll see posting from someone in the “Roosevelt group” when your material gets an accession number in our herbarium. Naomi and Nina are taking a break next week because we have grandchildren visiting and have become an “occupied zone” with a reduction of working space. We already have a request for a foray in coming days (from the kids). So we will go out with some eyes a little closer to the ground than usual. Although the kids have gotten a lot bigger than they were last year.

Very best,

Rod

Thank you for the confirmation

I saved quite a few specimens and shipped them all at once, hope that’s nor an issue.
I hunt practically every day so it makes sense for me to send them in bulk.
I’m very interested in seeing any information or micro graphs your team may do.
Not sure why but of all those samples the specimen in sect. vaginatae with a gold pileus and the small umbo bugs me the most. I’d love to see an ID on that one.

I wish you luck and I have my eyes out at all times.
Coincidentally, just prior to me writing this I found a small orange Amanita which is staining red on its bulb. Its immature and not in great shape but I’ll post an observation anyways.

I’ll be happy to see them. They happen to belong to one of the groups being studied molecularly at Univ. of Tenn. I will forward a sample to Dr. Karen Hughes.
