Notes: These mushrooms were growing from the ground in a burn area near Yellowstone lake.

Recognized by sight: Gill, and hence spore color appears to be rusty brown. Too much orange in the spore color for Pholiota.

Recognized by sight: Viscid cap. Several Pholiota species prefer burned wood.
