Found under mixed conifers
Photographed with a mounting scope, so it is like 30x mag. I like how the fuzzy edged came out in these shots, looks like something from a ocean reef.
The last photo is something weird, so next to the clumps of D. bicolor on a stick, there was this patch of orangy things, which I thought would be something else. Looking at them under the scope though, you can see the same fuzzy edges, but also the disc in the center is very degraded. These are old dead D. bicolor, that are discolored with some bacterial infection. In any case they look cool too.
