Yellow-brown, convex to plane caps with a distinct umbo. Caps scurfy with very tiny hairs on the cuticle, cap turns reddish-brown in KOH. Margin incurved to decurved. Gills reddish-brown, distant, and notched. Stipe with a reddish portion of the partial veil near the apex. Found on the ground near Shagbark Hickory (Carya ovata).
