Growing on a large rotting log, probably conifer.
Gill edges marginate (brown), but not everywhere. Flesh thin, fragile. Odor mild, pleasant. Stem hollow, snaps cleanly.
Spores 7-8 × 4-5. Basidia 4-spored, ~30 × 6. Cheilocystidia ~55 × 10. No pleurocystidia. Caulocystidia up to 60 microns.
