If I make a new collection, I’ll put them in TENN. My requirements are that it has to be from a new location or hasn’t been collected recently. This particular specimen got covered in dirt and the stipe broke (and it was squeezed in with a bunch of other species) as I did not have a proper container to carry it home in, so I might not keep it once I identify it.

Do you deposit your collections in TENN?

I think you should compare this material with Amanita onusta.

I think that that is what you have.

Very best,

Rod
