Basidia
(20 – 34) 28 × 10.2 (8.5 – 12) µm
4-spored

Cheilocystidia
(20 – 33) x ( 4 – 10) µm
Sublageniform to lageniform, often with subapitate apex, and occasionally with swollen body.
Rarely forked.

Caulocystidia
(54.4 – 99.8) x (8.7 – 12.1) µm
Sublageniform to lageniform, often with subapitate apex, and occasionally with swollen body.
Caulocystidia are much larger than cheilocystidia.
Fasciculate, with more numbers of tufts appearing at the apex of the stipe.

Pileipellis
Pileus trama interwoven
Hymeniform with numerous clavate so subclavate cystidia, rarely with expanded necks which protrude out.
Clavate cystidia measuring (30 – 38) x 12 -15) µm
Clavate cystidia with necks measuring (70 – 90) x (5 -10) µm

Pleurocystidia
absent.

Conclusions
In my eyes this observation is Pholiotina cyanopus, due to the large amount of pileocystidia, the large spore size, and the Sublageniform to lageniform shape of the cheilocystidia.

This species also belongs in pholiotina due to the hymenoderm pileipellis, rounded to tapered cystidia, and the presence of a mediostratum.

I was hoping you would appreciate this observation. I sped a bit of time working on it. Do you happen to have that Conocybe/Pholiotina papers you shared a while ago, that hardrive died.

Nice documentation!

Also, that doesn’t look like Conocybe cheilocystidia. :)
