Notes: Growing in mixed woods in the Manard Creek Corridor Unit.
Cap 7.5 microns across.
No yellow staining.
Spore print dark brown.
Spores ~ 5.0-5.9 X 3.8-4.1 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid.

Agaricus subrutilescens may be somewhat of a stretch

for this area, but it did appear on a Texas Mycological Society Composite Species List 1977-1984(once).
However, with saprotophic fungi, I think one must keep an open mind.
