material? Could the pigment be partially washed out of the cap in the largest specimen?

Yellow volval material near the stem base and a cap that is a mix of yellow and brown areas…might be the very recently described A. augusta or something close to it…if the mushroom in the photos belongs in the Validae.

the Amanita in section Validae with only a provisional name at this point? It seems quite distinctive. RET? Debbie? Dave W? Zimmer?
