Observation 138078: Artomyces pyxidatus (Pers.) Jülich

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Yellowish- white coral with a short branching stem which branches into smaller laterals that are topped with crown-like tips. Odor pleasant, but can’t tell if it is like newly dug potatos. Taste was peppery. Found on a rotting aspen (poplar) log.
