Growing on moss covered ground under hemlock in mixed woods. Cap color is rose pink and 4-5 cm. Gills are close and white. Stem is solid white. No staining when cut or bruised. No distinctive odor. Very peppery taste. Cap cuticle peels easily. Brittle gills and stem. White spore deposit.
