Used references: Arora, Mushrooms Demystified. White growing area, yellowish pores, shelf-like formation mostly matches Laetiporus. I don’t know if this helps, but Laetiporus appears to be a heartwood degrader in the PNW. Growing on older tree?

It grew up on a stump of a very old “COTONOASTER”. An extrêmely hardwood.
This tree was cut in March 2011, see photo-added.
I think it will still grow this year 2 014.
