Not S. lakei, try S. caerulescens, instead

The most common Suillus in our area under Douglas Fir. S. lakei has a far scalier cap.

Need a closeup of the cap…

Based on the color and texture of the cap these look more like Suillus caerulescens or S. ponderosus, but from these photos I couldn’t say which is more likely. A closeup of the veil would help decide between the above two if this isn’t S. lakei.
