and you can instantly even out lighting over subjects which are being hit with partial shade/partial sunlight. just one of many cheap ways to take mushroom photography up a notch, no fancy camera/lens required.

Thanks Daniel, I wasn’t going to eat it though, it looked very much like C.moly to me as well, but I’m fairly certain it’s not.
I’ve never found C.moly outside of a lawn, except I find it in fields some times.
This species was under oaks, with no grass whatsoever.

Thin stipe and overall appearance suggests M. chlorophyllum to me. Better safe.
