I notice that I have never seen A. levistriata from Missouri.

This year MO observations of what is apparently levistriata have come from well north of the Gulf Coast states…up until now, I had never heard of it from outside that region.

Spores would be very useful. The color of the volva suggests Amanita sp-N50 or A. laevistriata.
