is another possibility but I know you are familiar with it.
as seen in this obs, shows very pale colors on all parts. I’m wondering about the light colored ones that I’ve been recently finding, and have found during years past. Are these var. flavus, or are they just fully expanded var. volemus with light colors due to full expansion of fruit bodies and/or weather-induced variations?
I expect that you may not have a definitive answer; but I’m wondering if you may offer any relevant input.
