This specimen was found in bottomland woods with whatever was growing on the forest floor. There was scattered grass (not a lawn) with other vegetation present. It was removed and taken home to get a decent photo. I do not do a very good job generally in the field with photographs.

Everything I know about Agaricus campestris indicates it grows with grass, is there any precedence for it to grow in other places too?
