these eastern NA Amidellas includes:
volvata exhibits brown stains and tends to develop marginal cap striations later than pseudovolvata.
whetstoneae, tends to show less staining than the other two.
marginal striations are sometimes not observed on young pseudovolvata, but this is likely due to the young cap being mostly covered in scales.
Given the staining and lack of marginal striations coupled with the relatively small amount of scales on the cap, I think A. volvata fits this collection.
