Observation 139974: Fungi Bartl.
When: 2013-07-13
Collection location: Ottawa, Canada [Click for map]
Who: Jonathan M
No herbarium specimen

Notes: inside white, quite tough a bit tougher than a puffball, plenty of specimen , ALWAY growing on the xylarioid fungus on the wood.

I am far from confident for entonaema, but for now it the best guess i have, I expect to come back in that forest in 1 month or so.

Entonaema should be soft and liquid-filled when fresh or hard and hollow in age. Can you post an image of your cross section?
