since it is an island and all. I saw many non-native fungal species in “wildland” settings while in Hawaii last summer. They will only grow when they are in conducive habitat, and green zones are a better microclimate than gravel.

I want to prove to you that this fungus grows naturally in Tahiti, he is without a Biodiversity OGN. It does not grow in a flower pot, under gravel clean, with imported compost! As probably the OBS: http://mushroomobserver.org/33832?q=1vLBM, AND, http://mushroomobserver.org/33837?q=1vLBI, AND, http://mushroomobserver.org/140327?q = 1vLBA voluntarily cut without landmark.
