Observation 140165: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Concave cap, parachute-like, generally less than 1 cm diameter; stem substantially longer than cap, cartilagenous, sticky at base at least, white. Gills clearly decurrent. Superficially like Marasmius rotula, but gills closer and decurrent and intercalated, stem thicker and white, and growing on old rotting wood.
