Observation 140729: Boletus subvelutipes Peck
When: 2013-07-20

Notes: Cap: 5.5 cm across, brown
Stipe: 6.0 cm long x 2.5 cm across
Flesh: yellow, all parts instantly staining blue
Spore print: green.
Spores: 9-10 × 4-5 um, fusoid, smooth, inamyloid.
Would be associated with conifers (Abies or Picea).
PDAB on cap: turns bright yellow
3% KOH on cap: no reaction
FeSO4 on cap: no reaction
