Thanks for the comments Eric and Britt. I added a cropped image from the larger photo. It is a bit blurry but shows the color of the gills. They do look a bit ‘rosy’. Does this help for a more positive ID?

I’m fairly new to mushroom identification, but am realizing how important the gills often are. I’ll try to include an image of the gills from now on.

that is dark brown below, lightening on the way up? Classic Xeromphalina campanella/kauffmanii.

What color were the gills?

I’d bet rosy and that it’s Chromosera.
