Observation 140854: Boletus subglabripes Peck

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Cap 4 cm., toasty brown, convex, whitish flesh. Pores (surface and tubes pale lemon yellow, depressed at stem, small. Stem 7 cm. × 1.5 cm., same color as pores, scurfy, solid. Cap and stem flesh slowly bruised pale blue when cut. Stem base bruised reddish on handling. On mossy ground under balsam fir in mixed woods.
