Observation 141119: Laccaria bicolor (Maire) P.D. Orton

Found at about 7,100 ft., about 5 feet away from flowing stream in a coniferous forest in the Sierra Mountains. Violet tones in gills when fresh. White mycelium tuft at base. Smell is radish to grass/dirt like.
