Observation 141205: Fulvifomes robiniae (Murrill) Murrill

No herbarium specimen

Notes: 4 hoof-shaped fruit bodies on downed black locust and also on adjacent standing dead tree. Typical are much wider than tall suggesting that these might be a different variety. The white patches underneath the shelf look like Dendrothele, but the wood is obviously dead, not alive as is required for D.

collected a mushroom like this one from an old jack fruit tree which stands in a jungle in kerala, India. which mail address can i send a photo of the same.
