Notes: I realise this observation is lacking in detail, and so I do not expect a very specific identification.

Recognized by sight: fleshy basidiomycete with unknown hymenophoral makeup. probably Pycnoporus, (barring the existence of any large, radioactive orange, sessile, laterally attached, lignicolous agarics), but not enough information to say definitively.

No, this photo (and several others) were taken when I was much younger and had no specific interest in fungi. The photo is more of a holiday scenery shot, but I decided to upload it here anyway just in case it were an easy specimen to identify. Thanks anyway!
