Notes: Growing on rotten conifer in mixed woods under hemlock and balsam fir. Orange brown cap, 15 mm, scurfy. Yellow gills. Yellow stem, 25 mm. × 3-6 mm., tapered and paler at apex, lined. Flesh of cap and stem yellow. KOH turns cap surface dark red.
