Those darned specialist Hypomyces are everywhere! ;)

I have never seen hypomycetized Leotia lubrica here in the west, though, and I have looked at plenty of ’em and I always keep an eye out for oddities….could it be more of an eastern thing?

Any other western collector ever seen this?
