Notes: Unidentified Gymnopilus species found growing in a small cluster in very green grass next to a sidewalk without trees in the immediate area. This species was small and colorful. The darkened colors displayed began showing after an hour of picking.

proposing these outrageous names.
it is getting out of control.
if you do not know what it is and have no micro, just call them Gymnopilus…please.
from the given photos, there is no way to say for certain what species these are.
