Back there today. Everything is gone. Hard rains here. I’ll find more. I see it fairly often.

and photograph again! It would be interesting to see the fructation. I know it is generally believed that P. polycephalum can be identified by it’s presence on Plerotus, but I have never see it sporulate – so we really don’t know the identity from the plasmodium.
