Observation 141819: Aureoboletus auriporus (Peck) Pouzar

Notes: Cap 4cm, brown, dry with darker bruise that may show reddish in some photos, but read as brown. Pore layer brilliant yellow reminiscent of B. innixus, non staining, depressed at stipe. Stipe glutinous, slimy, sticky, translucent brown with exudate on undisturbed fruit body, enlarging slightly downward, no insect damage, stipe not pointed at bottom.Cap context slowly staining slightly brown from piliepellis down, stipe context not staining.Taste of context/pores: mild, sourAroma not distictiveNote nodule at base of stipe in photo #5.
